Operata launches 'Numéro' release for Genesys Cloud CX
Operata announced the launch of 'Numéro' for Genesys Cloud CX on April 29, 2026. This release provides deeper observability, including CX Copilot and Agent Copilot features, and initiates a design partner program to develop voice bot monitoring capabilities.

Denver/Melbourne, April 29, 2026 — This week in London, Genesys Xperience on Tour agenda clearly outlined the direction of the contact center industry: "Boldly Move Toward an Agent-Driven Future," "Orchestrating Universal Agent Experiences." The demand is real, and the goals are logical.
Gartner predicts that by 2029, agentic AI will autonomously resolve 80% of common customer service issues without human intervention. The same analyst firm also forecasts that by the end of 2027, more than 40% of agentic AI projects will be canceled due to rising costs, unclear business value, and insufficient risk control.
However, no session addressed the question of whether the AI customer experience tools deployed at scale by enterprises are truly delivering value to customers—not whether the model completed its task, but whether the customer was properly served. When AI fails, the cost does not disappear; it shifts to a more expensive human agent interaction that begins with customer frustration.
The gap between these two predictions is exactly where Operata operates. Today, Operata announced the 'Numéro' release for Genesys Cloud CX, providing deeper observability into the environments Genesys customers run today, while simultaneously launching a design partner program for future capabilities.
The Blind Spots Existing AI Monitoring Tools Cannot Cover
Modern Genesys environments are no longer supported by Genesys alone. The addition of virtual agents, voice AI engines, CRM integrations, and BPO agent networks means a single customer call may touch four to five applications before it is finally resolved. Every new AI capability added to the technology stack creates a new monitoring blind spot, and traditional platform monitoring was never designed to cover these areas.
AI customer experience and voice AI platforms now come with built-in monitoring and evaluation tools for testing and deployment in customer environments. But what these tools cannot tell you is what happens between the model and the customer, or between the customer's voice and the model's input. They were never built to measure end-to-end call quality. Operata was built for this layer.
Core Capabilities of the 'Numéro' Release
CX Copilot gives IT and operations teams immediate, plain-language answers based on their own environment data. Questions that previously required submitting a BI request and waiting two weeks can now be answered in seconds, with answers grounded in the real technical and operational signals unique to each environment.
Agent Copilot provides real-time guidance during live calls. If the customer cannot hear clearly, even the perfect response is meaningless. When Genesys's Agent Copilot tells the agent what to say next, Operata monitors audio quality, network conditions, and environmental signals during the call, surfacing issues and solutions while the customer is still on the line.
Operata for Genesys Cloud CX deploys via a lightweight browser extension and cloud collectors, with no professional services required.
Building Future Capabilities with Design Partners
Voice bot monitoring is one of the most significant capability gaps in the contact center ecosystem. Customers are looking for such solutions but find that existing AI customer experience monitoring tools cannot show the full end-to-end picture. Operata is building this solution and launching a design partner program to ensure the final product is guided by those who will actually use it.
Operata design partners will receive early access to features during development, direct input into prioritization, and first insight into the key metrics that will define AI observability for the modern contact center. Operata's founding team comes from the contact center frontline, having used the tools and done the work themselves. They know firsthand the cost of shipping software prematurely, disconnected from reality.
"The urgency is real. Contact centers are racing to deploy agentic AI alongside human agents, but trust and performance issues are becoming obstacles. We see the pattern: organizations believe the promise of AI at scale, then look deeper and find they have just another component in a multi-vendor stack, not the outcome they were promised," said Romilly Blackburn, CEO of Operata.
"Someone needs to honestly address the question of how to determine whether this future is truly creating value for customers. CX observability does this for Genesys customers running today, giving contact centers and their IT teams visibility into every interaction so they can deploy and operate with confidence."
